Apply Plunge Turn

This challenge is for lathe. It is challenging you to apply a plunge turning toolpath to the part file. Plunge turning offers significant benefits to parts with wide grooves because of the nature of the tools themselves. Being able to turn sideways with a grooving tool is much faster than using a standard grooving operation on a wide groove. Special tools are required to use this type of programming, so talk with your local tool reps about these tools specifically.
